Welcome to the website of Bed and Breakfast La Petite Roer in Sourbrodt. Our B&B is uniquely situated in the rugged High Fens, between the Ardennes and the German Eifel. This former farmhouse, its oldest parts dating back to the 18th century, has been converted into a comfortable and charming guesthouse. La Petite Roer houses three spacious guestrooms, each with its own shower- or bathroom. We welcomed our first guests late summer 2009 and are looking forward to having you stay with us too.

    

We invite you to spend a couple of days with us to go walking or cycling on the High Fens plateau in summer or cross-country or alpine skiing in wintertime. After a days outing on a summers day, enjoy our large and sunny garden, which borders the ‘La Petite Roer’ Nature Reserve, and watch the buzzards circling above your head. At night, catch a glimpse of the stone marten who pays regular nocturnal visits to the garden. Or come across a deer when you take a stroll down the lane towards the nature reserve.

At night, you can relax with a glass of specialty beer or wine in the cosy woodbeamed guest lounge. There’s a woodstove to keep you warm in winter time. And in summer, take your glass outside with you and unwind by the small lake in our natural garden. Finally, you can enjoy a great night’s sleep in our comfortable and characterful bedrooms.
